Question: My friend is moving cross country. What is the cheapest way to move furniture?
He drives a car with no trunk or backseat. Would it be cheaper to sell his stuff.
Answer: It depends on how much his stuff is worth. Most oft he time, moving companies will offer you a quote. Tell him to go online and search for moving companies and ask for quotes. A lot of times, a rep will call you up and ask you what you have and where you are miving to and quote you from there. I am moving from SC to WA and they quoted me at like $1000 bucks but I am not moving that much stuff. I decided to move my stuff because the stuff I was moving was worth more than a grand.
