Prevention of contagious diseases in the workplace
Preventing transmission of infections diseases into your workplace and home is the responsibility of us all. A few common sense rules that are easy to apply can improve your chances of avoiding some of the diseases most common and scatter them in your family or coworkers.
The micro-organisms that cause disease May be transmitted from person to person several ways. Some are preventable. Transmission of diseases may occur through coughing or sneezing, such as colds. Others are sent via ingestion of food or water contaminated, often infected by contaminated hands or unhealthy methods of food preparation. Still others micro-organisms causing diseases are spread through sexual contact or by insects and other animals. Our common sense advice emphasis on prevention of diseases mainly by direct and indirect contact with other people in our area of work and life. These preventable diseases include colds, influenza viruses, viruses tract, and bacterial infections such as staphylococcus and streptococcus.
A few simple rules we can all follow to improve your and your colleagues, your family and friends opportunities "to avoid colds, flu, stomach virus and diarrhea.
1) Be aware of the location where you have recently placed your hands before you find everything you intend to put in your mouth
2) Wash your hands frequently and carefully water and soap. Use alcohol-based hand gels when soap and water are not available

Question: I think I may have OCD?
1.Like every night I have to go downstairs to make sure the doors are locked or I cant sleep
2.I wont put my school backpack in my room because of the germs I think about from school
3.I wont put school books on my bed because they're dirty and have been on school desk that others sit at
4.Everyday I wash my door knobs
5.I f I do my homework in my room it has to be on the floor and after im done I have to vacuum my floor
6.I carry Hand Sanitizer and a bar of soap in my purse because I dont like to share public soap dispensers with others
7.I count my steps by 8ths
8.I get annoyed when I step on cracks in the sidewalk with one foot and not with the other so the anxiousness makes me step on a crack with both feet
9.I wont participate in PE because I dont like the interaction with the balls etc.
10.I get annoyed when things aren't aligned and feel the need to fix themDoes this sound like OCD?
What should I do my parents don't believe me Im having a hard time in school?Answer: Yes. A form of. I have this to an extent too, although it has lessened over the years. I have never had treatment, but if it is interfering with your life badly, you should go see a doctor.

Lint Clothes Shaver

Question: How do I get the small fluffy `balls` out of woollen clothes?
I follow all the manufacturer`s instructions when caring for my woollen sweaters but often end up with these little balls/knots(don`t really know what they are called)-not lint though, all over the clothes.I tend to hand pick them off my sweaters(which takes forever).
I`ve heard of clothes shavers, but what am i to look out for when buying one?Which brands are the most effective?

I haven't tried it, but there's also a "sweater stone" that's supposed to wipe these away without hurting your sweater - and it's much cheaper than the shavers (it's just pumice)
