Question: The outdoor unit(Lennox Merit Series 10ACC Unit) is not working and is making a buzzing noise. Any ideas?
I tried opening the unit,checking the fan even opening the electrical access panel but when I put it all back together the buzzing noise was louder and it started to smell and seem to get hot so I shut it off. So do you think it's the contactor or the capicator?
Answer: Well, you really need an ac company to come out and trace out the electrical circuit wiring and components to be sure because the smell is probably wiring insulation burning.

You have heard of teak. You've seen friends who have teak and saw the striking grain in the wood make each piece unique. Now you want too. If you can, contact a marine accessories shop and ask them a bottle of teak oil that helps preserve the wood. They know what you speak and make sure you get the right thing.
