Question: what type of dryer plug is needed for a dryer in military housing?

Live on Andrews AFB MD. Need a dryer plug that I can but from Lowe's that will be compatible. I have a Kenmore 80 series dryer. The plug on that doesn't fit the wall. The dryer that we had before that broke down, the plug had a circular metal piece on top center, two rectangular pieces on both side and a 90 degree angle piece on the bottom/ Sorry if my question seems confusing I am in a rush. Thanks.

Answer: That was a great description of the plug on the old dryer that broke down, that you don't have any more, unfortunately what we would need to know is what the receptical you're wanting to plug the new dryer into, looks like. If I were you, I'd take a picture of the recept on the wall with a digital camera and either take the camera or get the pic printed out and take that and go to a home improvement or hardware store and tell them you need a cord that will plug into that recept. They should be able to help you that way.

Answer: I think the Dyson is a better buy, even tho you may lay out
more at the purchase, but that's it, you won't have to buy
bags or filters and they are the best vacuums I have ever
used. I used to use a Kirby, but the attachments were a
pain in the --- to put on and off. I had a Filter Queen that
was great, but the filter cones were really pricey..
