Question: Are the rubber lip plecos at petsmart wild caught?

I know that they are hard to breed in captivity, but are they wild caught?
I know for a fact they are not from the mississippi!

Answer: no petsmart only receives its animals and fish from certified breeders they may be imported from another state but they are only from certified breeders they are sent in special water in plastic bags in insulated bubble rap stuff and in card board boxes great care is put into receiving all animals

I order to achieve a good seal, the mechanical shaft seal should be purged. The purge pressure recommended is 2 to 5 PSI above the pressure of process gas.

Lip seals are furnished with two elements sealing, each with a stainless steel spring to maintain surface contact. The seal assembly is lubricated with "never - seez. The mechanical seals are double or triple carbon seal ring mounted in a housing made of carbon steel. The seal housing has two ports serving.

To ensure a good seal fan, bubble soap or chalk / kerosene tesing blower is made. This ensures that the continuous weld, completely isolated the housing seams (liquid tight).
