Tile Grout

Question: Can I heat tile grout (with a hair-dryer or fan-heater) to speed up the drying process?
I'm re-tiling a shower but it is frequently used by others and I can't leave it for 3-4 days as recommended on the grout instructions. I tested this on 1 panel and it seemed to work, but some people have said this isn't a good idea and should dry naturally? Anyone have experience of this? Thanks
Answer: It will dry to quick and crack.

If you do not have concierge services, however, here are some tips on cleaning grout. They are mainly based on the experiences of other households.
A biologist has discovered that many of their tile grout problems were with the mold. They checked several Commercial Products to prevent mildew in the shower area and found that each had alcohol as a main ingredient. The biologist has realized that alcohol is, in effect, kill the mold. Instead of spending on expensive Commercial Products, they began to wipe their shower areas with a sponge after each use, followed a spritzing of rubbing alcohol. A third non-toxic options are oxygen bleach. It comes in powder form which dissolves in water and applied to the grout. It should be soaked for 30 minutes to an hour. The solution is often absorbed into the grout so be prepared to reapply it frequently so that is always a layer of solution on top of the grout in the soaking period. Then scrub and rinse the grout with water and then dried.
Bleach Ordinary may also be used. This is combined with equal parts water and spray on grout bathroom in the evening. Windows should be left open to let out the smoke, though. Use a fan to assist ventilation the better. This technique should also be used if the room is not used for the rest of the night until morning. Be sure to rinse the bleach before anyone uses the bathroom.
Some people even use cleaners toilet bowl on tile grout. They apply it, allow it to set and scrub before rinsing. Check all primarily the product of toxicity, though. Many cleaners are too strong or may be dangerous to use on other surfaces.
Sometimes, only professionals can do a great job of cleaning, though. If you can not afford it, I strongly recommend hiring a renowned babysitting service so you can benefit from cleaning, not only the tile grout, but also the cleaning of carpets, cleaning carpets, fabrics furnishing care, removal of stains on the spot, including pet stains and water damage repair.
