Question: Poll: How do you ladies wash your bras? I wash mine in a large pot with cold water and liquid Tide?
I only buy expensive bras from Victoria's Secret. I get the Very Sexy push up in black. The size is 36 DD. It has both under wire and padding to enhance shape and cleavage. I used to wash these 42 dollar bras in the machine. I would put them inside of a fish net Laundry Bag. The under wire would still begin to poke out over time. Even the bra ball doesn't help the bras to last much longer. So now I wash the bras one at a time in a large pot. I let them soak for an hour in the soap then for an hour in clear water. I sponge them out and then let them air dry. It usually takes 2 days for them to dry. Does this make sense or not?
Answer: I wear a 38 DD in bras. And I buy the Very Sexy push up in black from Victoria's Secret as well. I also wash my bras by hand out in a large pan or pot with cold water and Gain laundry detergent. I used to wash the bras in the machine. But no matter what I did, they would still get raggedy after a month or 2. So what you're doing makes good sense. The bras should last a few more months longer if you carefully wash them by hand and hang them up to dry.
