When you choose to adopt the baby privately, your process may be a little different than if you go through an international placement or placement to a family home, but the role emotional-a-coaster effect is still present. In our agency, or 25% of our adoptive families and biological families have opened adoption to include the exchange of family names and identifying information for the real birth of the child.
