Question: I would like to make homemade cleaning supplies?
With all of the chemicals around us these days I thought I'd ask where I could find recipes for making homemade cleaning supplies like floor/bathroom/kitchen cleaners as well as outdoor cleaners for wood decks etc.
Answer: I use things such as vinegar, baking soda, borax, salt, lemon juice, peroxide, corn starch and natural soap for cleaning.
Mix equal parts water & vinegar for an all-purpose cleaner. You can use this as a kitchen and bathroom cleaner. You can also mop with a vinegar/water mixture.
Add 1/2 cup borax to a gallon of water or vinegar for a great disinfectant.
Mix 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 quart warm water for a glass cleaner.
