Question: What is the best way to store baby clothes for a long time?
I want to store the baby clothes from my son and daughter for when they have kids. How do you suggest I do this?
Some of the outfits will be turned into a blanket for each child. Then some others are going to goodwill / salvation army. And the rest in storage for at least 20 years. Wow...that seems like such a long time.
Answer: My son is 24. I've kept several precious items of clothing and his first stuffed toy in a plastic bag with a zipper that you get when you buy bedding. No mold. No mildew. I have just tossed it on a closet shelf everytime I've moved. The clothing is in pristine condition.
