Canister Vacuum Bags

Question: What kind of vacuum cleaner do you use? The one with a bag or the container/canister?
We have been using the kind with the bags for many years but decided to try out the kind with the container. It's seems to be pretty good. Both really seem to do the job just fine. How about you? Which do you prefer?
