Question: What other chemicals can I use to clean up my carpet,besides oxysteam carpet cleaner?
I rented this Carpet Cleaner(Rug Doctor), but I am running out of the chemical that came along with it,oxysteam, but I have 2 more rooms to go. Any home remedies which do the cleaning trick? I have 24 hrs before I can return it, so I need help..Thanks.
Answer: i am a fire,mold,disaster contractor......at work we use our semi trucks......with steam cleaners & enviromental chemicals...but at home....i only use dreft baby laundry detergent.....1/2 stength mix with hot h2o before putting in rug doctor...it smells great & your carpets will be fluffy....use a scotch guard only if u need it......it will firm up your carpet......
