Question: How can plastic and farm waste be transformed into oil?
Trash Can be used rather than discarded so since the current practice of dumping trash could be replaced by a process that transforms it into oil, what is the best way of doing it?
Answer: The best way to transform farm waster into oil is through pyrolysis, while the best way to transform plastic into oil is through thermal cracking (which could be a kind of pyrolisis) but involves higher pressures. The first process could be profitable, while it is much more profitable to burn plastics as fuel directly.

There are two major reasons why China is of great importance for the recycling market in the world: First, environmental policy EU imposes quotas ambitious for plastics that the EU can not fulfill. These regulations, for example, that impose 22.5 per cent of plastic packaging that is released is recycled. These quotas are, in part, even being superior to national law. As there is insufficient capacity within EU, it must be found elsewhere, leading to the second reason: the increased consumption in China is simply the world of secondary plastics. In recent years, China has revolutionized the world of plastic recycling. In the mid-90s, many types of waste could be sold a negative market value that the vendors were required to pay additional subsidies, while today the Chinese recyclers earn higher prices. However, the unrestricted import of all kinds of waste has also had its price. Often, for goods in particular the poor, Would you hear: "This charge can only go to China." Recycling Industry of China has actually helped the EU to achieve its objectives ambitious recycling.
China could ensure the disposal of plastic waste in the EU, but it does not remain buried in the western world. With increasing pressure on the quality of secondary raw materials together with increasing political pressure, there is increased demand for good quality raw materials. Currently, only companies that comply with the Chinese Administration of Quality Control Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) to import waste in China can export to China. Goods exported are inspected by the Chinese Society of Inspection Goods (CCIC). Increases in imports of plastic go hand in hand with market demand. In 2007, about 10 million Chinese were employed in industry of plastic recycling. In the same period, China needs about 40 million tons of plastic, including 14.54 million tons came from recycling. This supports the evidence that about one third of the total consumption of plastics include recyclable materials, and increased demand for materials secondary materials and thus increase the annual quota for imports.
