Question: Concentrate laundry detergent does it work for anyone else?
I recently purchased the all small and mighty detergent...it says it is 3 times more concentrate. When I used it,it did not have a lot of suds. So I am wondering do you actullly need to see the suds to know your laundry is clean? So far I have done a few loads and it all "looks" clean..but is it really?
Answer: You don't need suds.
I use that detergent too and love it since it does a nice job and I don't have to carry a huge bottle.

We hear a lot about how toxic emissions must be reduced if we reduce the damage they can cause people and the environment. The good thing is that we are each in a position to make some changes in our daily life that will catch the evil we have already done to the earth.
Many of these products in our daily life are composed of harmful chemical ingredients. In some cases these are listed clearly, but few of us are able to discern the truth of scientific jargon. In others, the list of ingredients is very clear.
Anyway, some of these chemicals can affect us, our families and the environment in very negative.
Detergent Laundry is one such product that often times contains vague information on its list of ingredients. The residues left behind are potentially dangerous too. Even if your clothes may seem very fresh and clean, they may actually just be overloaded with toxins hard.
A list of ingredients found a common brand of laundry detergent leaves a consumer with a lot of questions. For example, the ingredients included a buffering agent, stabilizer, an agent brightening, and fragrance. This description confusion raises even more questions.
What causes that lovely fragrance? What cleans?
When a closer look is taken, the list becomes shocking at the harmful chemicals found in common products such as laundry detergent. As a consumer, it becomes clear that it may be time to take control and use safer alternatives.
When your detergent claims to offer clothes brighter and whiter, you may want to rethink your decision. The "optical brighteners" found on the label of a detergent are actually man-made chemicals. They work by turning ultraviolet wavelengths in visible light revealed clothes whiter, yet does not really make cleaner.
Some of their negative effects are that they can cause mutations in bacteria and are toxic to fish.
They can also cause allergic reactions in the skin when exposed to sunlight.
Another characteristic joint sales of laundry detergents is fragrance. Many say they leave your clothes "feel cooler" or "lemon". Fragrances artificial in detergents can often be derived from petroleum. They can harm the environment because they are not biodegradable. Research has shown that these artificial fragrances can have toxic effects on fish and mammals. More importantly, they can cause irritation cutaneous and ocular allergies.
These detergents May in fact create whiter and better smelling clothes, but the price paid being harmful for your family and the environment is hardly worthwhile.
