Most of these cleaners are things that you may already have at home and in most cases provide a safe alternative non-toxic to bleach or cleaners with ammonia-based. Note the precautions mentioned where applicable. Once you start using these products natural, you'll never need or want to buy those expensive cleaners again.

1. Vinegar

Probably one of the most commonly used natural cleanser, and with so many uses, you want to fill a spray bottle to keep handy and keep as a gallon of extra under the sink just for cleaning. Use it as you would an all-purpose cleaner by mixing 1 part water to 1 part vinegar and use to clean most areas of your home. It cleans, disinfects and deodorizes safely and effectively.

In the bathroom it works very well in the bath, toilet, sink, flooring and countertops. Try to use pure vinegar in the toilet to get rid of rings. It works much the fight against soap scum and hard water stains. For tough jobs, soak a cloth in pure vinegar and apply to the stain for one hour or two, then wipe.

In the vinegar used for all kitchen appliances, countertops, and floor. Soak cleaning brushes hardened in vinegar overnight to soften the hair.

2. Lemon Juice

Simply cut a lemon in half and wipe on the wood. Mix lemon juice with vinegar and baking soda to make a cleaning paste. 10. Borax (sodium borate)

Borax is a natural substance that kills mold and bacteria, and is an excellent alternative to bleach. It also deodorizes and decomposes detergent to improve its cleaning power. Try Dipping old towels or sports clothes in a solution of borax and water to make it smell fresh again.

Caution: Borax can be toxic to small children and pets, keep out of reach.
