Question: Space Savers For Small Studio Apartments?
My sister just moved into a small studio apartment and its made much like a hotel room, with a very small closet and she needs somewhere to put her clothes in exchange for a dresser, as the dresser she has would be too big. thanks for your help.
Answer: I don't know if your sister can afford it, but Pottery Barn has a great bedframe. It has a platform for the mattress and the base has openings either for drawers (which you can order with the frame) or baskets that pull out. My daughter has a small apartment and I was thinking about it for her. I'll post the link below for you to look at it. I could only find the daybed, but it also comes in full and queen with more openings in the catalog.
If this is too pricey for her, maybe she can come up with an idea of a platform for her bed (even a sheet of plywood cut to the size of her mattress and box spring and some type of supports on the four corners) and use baskets underneath the bed.
