Question: polish aluminum?
I'm trying to figure out about getting one side of a 24ft aluminum trailer polished into looking like a mirror.
Can aluminum get all shiny and polished like a mirror if it has scratches on it? They aren't deep scratches but, more like scratches from, lets say, sandpaper.
Answer: Though deeper scratches might not come out it could still be polished. I've seen semi truck trailers and airplanes polished.

You basically start with a coarse polish to smooth the metal and take out scratches then work to finer and finer polishes. There's also a sealer that can be applied so it doesn't oxidize as quickly.

Question: How do you make furniture polish?
Does anyone have a good recipe for homemade furniture polish, to use instead of a product like Old English Furniture Polish?
Answer: Ingredients
1 cup olive oil1/2 cup lemon juice
Mix together in a clean new spray bottle. To use, remember to shake before each application. Apply a small portion to your cleaning cloth. Spread the polish over the furniture, trying to polish evenly. Use another clean cloth to polish the surface dry.

For leather for centuries has been used for functionality and prestige. Back in the dark ages, hides were used for warmth and protection in the form of layers of crude and makeshift shoes. In these times, the decomposition of leather begin after only a few time to make a very inefficient process.

Here are some important steps you can take to help protect your leather furniture:
Probably the most important thing to remember is to clean stains immediately! If you do not, the stain may reappear weeks or months later. Just use mild soap and warm water.
Keep your furniture away from any heat source. At least two feet is recommended. Leather can be cured if they are exposed for long periods.
Avoid direct sunlight. This will prevent discoloration.
To use a dust clean cloth with a small amount of Leather Cleaner.
Not the use saddle soap, wax, oil, varnish, abrasive cleaners or ammonia-based.
All leather furniture restoration needs on a regular basis. This process replaces the natural coat oils that dry out and cause the leather to crack.
Please note this is for preventive maintenance and May you have a specific problem that may appeal to more action. Cleaning leather furniture can be difficult, and you should always do a test on site to check color fastness. If something major, such as scratches, cuts, holes or grease and oil stains, it is recommended that you seek professional help.
Take time to learn about your furniture. Look for differences in quality leather, the type of dyeing and finishing. Your dealer furniture be able to provide this information. If you take care of your leather furniture, it will last at least 20 years.
