Question: I need a vacuum for bare floors that doesn't blow stuff away and is cordless.?

I have a Swivel Sweeper. It does a 90% job. Although they tear up easily. I have used vacuums that just blow the dust around on the floor. It needs to be very light with the weight at the bottom. I prefer cordless.

Question: What is the cost of building your own shower pan.?

Curious to the cost in building it the cheapest way but still efficient. Materials to be used and prices? Rubber liner, 3 piece drain set, mortar, cement, 2x4s for lip. A list of proper materials and price is all I suppose and any other helpful hints. (I am aware of the slope) Thanks.
One more thing if I choose to go with a pre-fab pan what are their costs and should I just do that instead of tile. I'm not to picky.

Answer: You didn t state the size you want to build but that isn t a big variable. I ll give you an idea on a standard 3'x4' pan.
4- 5 gallon pails of 2ns sand or 4 bags of general purpose sand at the big box store 3.50$ each. 1/2 bag portland cement $8 for 90#.
3- 2x4 s for the curb $2. each... 4'x5' pan liner which if memory serves me is about 35/40$.. The shower drain is 10$ at Home Depot.
