Question: Bagless vacuums and dust...?

I purchases one from Sears (Kenmore brand) and thought the concept was good-vacuum and then dump the dirt in the garbage and your good to go. However...I find that the bagless vacuums cause more dust than when I just used my old Kenmore vacuum that required bags to be changed every once in a while.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I often go outside already to dump the tube in the trash and have to bang the filter (and often hand pick the bits of dust out of the filter)....It shouldn't be this difficult, but I really do not see the miracles of the bagless vac?

Anybody else?

Answer: I used to have a bagless but now I have an Oreck. Oreck has been the best vacuum I have ever purchased. It does have a bag but when removed there is a cover that puls shut when in the process of exchanging bags. I used to have a wind tunnel and that was the worst vacuum I have ever owned. It was expensive in cost and in quality was not empressive. Plus it broke a mew months later. Go Oreck if at all possible, I have not switched up from it for 4 years now and it still works. Plus it came with a cordless iron and a compact totable vacuum cleaner which is awesome for doing steps and vehicles.

Question: hi i need help with the chevy firing order on the distributor cap?

i know its 18436572 but i have a hei distributor with vacuum advance and i was wondering would you where i can find like a diagram of the distributor cap so i can connect the spark plug wires.

my distributor is not points style its hei style high electronic ignition
its a 350 but it has been stroked or bored to a 383

Answer: Remove the #1 spark plug, the one in the front on the drivers side. Place your thumb or finger over the hole while a buddy bumps the starter over in short quick bursts. When it blows your finger off the hole, stop! Look at the front of the engine and turn the engine over by hand until you align the 0 or TDC with the pointer. You should only have to turn the engine a few degrees one way or the other to reach it, and marking it before hand will help. I use white out to mark it with. Once you have it at 0 degrees (TDC) top dead center, remove the distributor cap to see where the rotor is pointing when the cap is on and in place. The rotor should be real close to one of the plug wire holes in the front of the cap. Now, this is where the #1 plug wire goes. Work your way in a clockwise fashion following the firing order around the cap. The cylinders on the drivers side are 1,3,5,7, and the ones on the other side are 2,4,6,8. This is from front to back on both sides.
