Question: How does Hpnotiq turn white/clear?

My mom has a bottle of unopened Hpnotiq left over from a party. It's been in the refrigerator for about 2 months now and when I went into the fridge today, the liquor was not blue, but a cloudy-ish clear, almost white color. What would make this happen and is it safe to drink?

Answer: Sometimes oxygen can make things turn different colors... sometimes things can change colors on their own over time... I dont neccessarily think that means its bad. Why dont you sip it, and if it tastes bad than you know it is. It usually is uncommon for liquor to go bad so soon unopened. My personal opinion is that it probably settled, and if you shook it up it wold look closer to normal. Artificial flavors and colors are known to settle on the bottom and sometimes dissapate, so I wouldnt worry about it.

The very talented Jazz artist Lenny White has released more recent CD on the Wounded Bird Records label recording, entitled Venusian Summer.

It's a rare day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can honestly say not a bad track in the bunch. I am more than happy to announce that's exactly what I have to say about it. Over there simply is not a bad in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song stands on its own.

Venus has been a very varied mixture of 6 securities that are very well written songs by this clearly superb artist. With great songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes great listening. The design is clear from what I can only imagine are him own personal experiences. At different points touching emotion the more true as the love and the pain has no relationships can certainly be heard.

I give Venusian Summer my highest recommendation. It just plain belongs in any good collection of music collectors regardless of gender preference.

While this album whole is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - Go Away Troubles in the sewer, channel 4 - Prelude To Rainbow Delta, and track 6 - Prince Of The Sea

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 - Chicken-fried steak. This is a great track!

Question: For the new year, my company has decided to start being more "environmentally aware."?

We have formed a cross-functional committee with about 15 members and I am trying to find some cool websites or ideas for posters, articles, etc that I can present to my team on Friday. We are trying to raise awareness and create incentives for everyone company-wide. Going green is now easy and cheap, yet it can save you thousands of dollars in the future. There are things you can do to be more environmentally responsible. Many of them cost money little or not at all, but can reduce your consumption Fuel and energy costs.

Reduce, reuse and recycle are expressions, you must have heard. It is the mystical secret of going green. It is fairly easy to do, it just takes a little adjustment with your thoughts. Reduce, reuse and recycle are steps Simle to recall when we make changes in our ongoing efforts in green. These steps are actually quite simple and can even save us a lot of money.

1. Reduce your consumption Every Day

Just about all of us were raised not to be wasteful, but we seem to have forgotten the lesson we have learned that we got older. The first step to going green is to start reducing the quantity of items that are using disposable items that can be reused many times.

* You can reduce the amount of toxic fuel you use by driving less, keeping your vehicle tuned up and keep your tires properly inflated. Try races combine as much as possible and plan your itinerary so that you do not do much running around.

* Make sure your home energy efficiency is to use no more energy than needed to heat and cool your home. Keep your furnace in good condition, cut cold room for doors and windows and adding more insulation to reduce heat transfer.

Reduce the daily consumption is the first logical step to go green. The less you use the least demand on fuel consumption and the environment.

2. Instead of reusing disposable syringes

We've been spoiled and have adopted the habit of buying throwaway. If you stop think for a minute, you might well find it difficult to come up with a dozen items that are not disposable alternatives. Today, everything seems to be made to be used once and then discarded.

We have disposable razors, toothbrushes, disposable, disposable bottles, disposable diapers, etc. The fact is that this kind of mentality is not good for our environment and the planet and it cost you much money.

* Use a reusable water bottle, the kind that are safe for your water needs of the dishwasher.

* Use reusable cloth bags for groceries.

* Bring your lunch in plastic containers rather than paper bags.

3. Recycling Papers, cans, glass, plastic, etc.

This is another not easy going green. There are some items that can be reused, such as cans, bottles glass, plastic containers. You can reduce the impact on the environment simply recycling instead of throwing them and burdening landfills.

Today, most communities have some sort of recycling programs and recycling bins are typically pick up the same day they collect garbage. You file your papers, cans, bottles, etc. in the trash and take it to the curb on trash day. It's just that simple!

This step three measures may be launched today. Start by reducing. Just do not use as much as you used to: do not drive much, do not use as many disposable things you used to, do not keep using as much fossil fuels as you used.

Hand dermatitis (also known as hand eczema) often results from a combination of causes, including genetic makeup (constitutional factors), injury (contact with irritants) and allergy. This condition is usually multi-factorial. The skin may respond to inflammation by forming scales. Fissures can then develop and these can be very painful. The majority of people who have irritant dermatitis (75% of all cases of dermatitis hand) you will get it through contact with detergents, cleaning products, water, metals, food, or rubber. Hand dermatitis is particularly frequent in areas involving cleaning, catering, metalwork, hairdressing, health and action mechanics. Hand dermatitis varies in severity. It may affect the backs of hands, palms or both sites.

Often it starts as a mild intermittent complaint, but it may become increasingly severe and persistent. The affected skin initially becomes red and dry, then progresses to itchy papules (bumps) and blisters (vesicles), scaling, cracks (fissures), weeping (exudation) and swelling (edema). Hand dermatitis can spread to other sites, particularly the forearms and feet. Emotional stress make hand dermatitis worse, especially the type known as pompholyx in which crops of very itchy vesicles erupt on the palms. Some people are more prone to hand dermatitis than others. They often have a personal or family history of atopic dermatitis, asthma or hay fever. Frictions and repetitive injuries also damage the skin. Irritants result in much more damage once the dermatitis has established

To treat dermatitis of the hands, you should avoid contact with the substance that irritates the skin. Protect your hands from direct contact with soaps, detergents, scouring powders, and similar irritating chemicals by wearing waterproof, cotton lined, gloves. Topical steroids to reduce inflammation. These come in various strengths and should be applied to areas of active dermatitis once or twice a day. Resist the temptation to use hot water, even if wearing gloves. Wear cotton gloves for general house work because they can be washed instead of washing your hands too often. Cortisone ointments are used to treat severe cases of hand dermatitis.
Mud gloves are good to work outside if you hand dermatitis. Use a mild soap (Dove, Basis, Olay, Cetaphil) or a soap substitute.

Helping Hands of Treatment and Prevention

1. Use a long-handled brush for dishes

2. Avoid direct contact with turpentine, paint thinner and paints.

3. Resist the temptation to use very hot water even if wearing gloves.

4. Keep washing hands at least luke keep water temperature hot

5. Avoid harsh or scented soaps, soap-free cleaning products may be the best use.

6. Apply moisturizers after washing, ointments that are clear and sticky seems to work best.

7. Avoid heating or cooling the skin, sweating in rubber gloves alone may aggravate dermatitis.

8. Wear cotton gloves to do general house work because they can be washed instead of washing hands too often.
