Question: How do you make furniture polish?

Does anyone have a good recipe for homemade furniture polish, to use instead of a product like Old English Furniture Polish?

Answer: Ingredients
1 cup olive oil

1/2 cup lemon juice

Mix together in a clean new spray bottle. To use, remember to shake before each application. Apply a small portion to your cleaning cloth. Spread the polish over the furniture, trying to polish evenly. Use another clean cloth to polish the surface dry.

Question: Can I trust wooden roller coasters?

I'm going to Cedar Point soon, and on the website there was at least one ride that was wooden (i didnt look at them all yet)

wooden roller coasters kinda freak me out, since theyre made of wood, and i worry thet theyll break, but my mom said sometimes those are the BEST coasters

Answer: I believe there is only one wooden roller coaster at Cedar Point. I think it is called the Mine Ride. I rode it a lot when I was a kid. I would have to agree with your mom. I bet that is one of the safer roller coasters. Just be warned that I remember that roller coaster was REALLY bumpy!! The metal coasters are much more smooth. I also think that part of making the Mine Ride scary is the fact that it is wooden.. they want you to be scared and wonder if you are safe. I remember thinking about that when I was a kid. If this is your first time riding a coaster I would suggest going on the Cork Screw first. That was my first coaster. I loved it! I was terrified but after I got off it I wanted to go again.

Question: Controlling power receptacle via light switch on a combo unit?

Hi, there!

Please be so kind to let me know if it is possible to control, that is, to turn on and tun off, the power receptacle via the light switch on what is knwon as a "decora style combination switch receptacle device". These units usually have the light switch on the top and the power receptacle on the bottom. Please note that I am not interested in controlling any actual light with the light switch; I just want it to control the botton receptacle.

Answer: Hot wire goes to one side of switch.
From the other side of the switch, put a short piece of wire to the brass screw of the receptacle.( there may already be a factory tab between two brass screws, if so just feed the other side of the switch first, and you don't have to put in the jumper).
The neutral wire connects to the silver colored screw on the recptacle.
Your green, or bare, ground wire connects to the green screw on the receptacle.

If you have any problems, DON'T mess with it, call an electrician.
