Question: why did the APE fall in love with the MACHINE?

There was an ugly APE
...man! he was hairy and out of shape

Just when you think you've run out of Storage Space, because all of your walls and floor space is used, someone comes up with an option innovative storage. Now, I must admit that I have heard jokes about putting stuff on the ceiling, but I do not really consider this as a serious option. But somebody did. Yes, that's what makes a good entrepreneur, they take ideas We joke about and make it a reality then a few years later we can say, "I thought of that!" and regret our missed opportunity.

It seems that lack of Storage Space is a modern problem, you see storage units popping up everywhere, people have sheds and basements full of stuff and garages packed to the limit. Lets face it, our modern society is full of pack rats. Some things that we need honest, we are not certain. But some things we need, we have only access to opportunity. At this time of overhead Garage Storage options come in. So what are these items? Here is a list of my garage:

• Christmas decorations (or any other holiday if that's your thing)

Question: how do i refinish a very old solid-wood desk?

i just got my hands on a very old solid wood desk. it was very dirty; it had years worth of papers and mice left overs stuck to it. i brushed it clean with a solution of Murphy's oil and water. now that it is clean i can see that it has some stains, discoloration, white rings, and some sides of the legs are scraped clean of paint. it also has many scratches.
I would like to refinish it without taking away the "antiqueness" of it and without reducing its value.
is "Restore-a-Finish" a good choice of product for this project?

Answer: It's a very involved and time consuming process. Go to www.minwax.com for some solutions. They are a interior stain and finish manufaturer that I sold at Home Depot for years and are very good products. They should also offer some very good refinishing tips. First tip from me would be to use as little water as possible as it will raise the wood grain and loosen any joints that may be glued.
