Question: I have a recipe for homemade laundry detergent that contains Fels Naptha soap. It is safe for septic systems?

Answer: I would think it's exactly the same as using a regular laundry detergent, so the real question is, can you use a normal detergent with a septic system? Most of the ingredients in homemade detergents are the same as in some regular detergents.
