Hi Stephen here how do you wash a down sleeping bag and a down jacket at home in the bath tub. Should I use warm,hot,or cold water and what kind of soap. You see I have a Portable Clothes Dryer I brought off of HSN the home shopping network. Now I want to use this to dry my down jacket and sleeping bag. But please first tell me how to wash it in my bath tub? Should I ring it out after it is done or just but it right in my Portable dryer all wet? Thanks and please respound with all and any help...

Answer: Your best bet is to have them professionally cleaned but if you insist on washing them in the bathtub be prepared for them to not get as clean as you want them and they will be very heavy.
