Question: How to clean the applicator pad in pressed powder?

How do you clean the applicator pad that comes with the pressed powder? I feel that mine is "caked" with the powder and oil from my face and would like to clean it...or do you just replace it?

Answer: i wouldn't try cleaning it just buy a new one they are very inexpensive and you can get them at any drug store or wal-mart. a hint for keeping it from getting so terribly "cakey" put it upside down so the side you use is facing the mirror not sitting on top of the power with all the oil from your face soaking it up.

My non-skid pad is like black foam. It's pretty thin and the adhesive that is sticking it to the board is very sticky. HOW THE HELL DO I GET IT OFF?

Question: What type of carpet pad will reduce impact and airborn sound transmission?

We live in an apartment where we can hear everything above us (footsteps, talking, cell phones vibrating, etc.). Our landlords claim to have installed a carpet with padding in the room above us, but there is no difference in sound transmission.
