Question: polish aluminum?
I'm trying to figure out about getting one side of a 24ft aluminum trailer polished into looking like a mirror.
Can aluminum get all shiny and polished like a mirror if it has scratches on it? They aren't deep scratches but, more like scratches from, lets say, sandpaper.
Answer: Though deeper scratches might not come out it could still be polished. I've seen semi truck trailers and airplanes polished.

You basically start with a coarse polish to smooth the metal and take out scratches then work to finer and finer polishes. There's also a sealer that can be applied so it doesn't oxidize as quickly.

Question: How do you make furniture polish?
Does anyone have a good recipe for homemade furniture polish, to use instead of a product like Old English Furniture Polish?
Answer: Ingredients
1 cup olive oil1/2 cup lemon juice
Mix together in a clean new spray bottle. To use, remember to shake before each application. Apply a small portion to your cleaning cloth. Spread the polish over the furniture, trying to polish evenly. Use another clean cloth to polish the surface dry.

For leather for centuries has been used for functionality and prestige. Back in the dark ages, hides were used for warmth and protection in the form of layers of crude and makeshift shoes. In these times, the decomposition of leather begin after only a few time to make a very inefficient process.
