Neck and Fretboard Bass Guitar:
Cleaning the neck and the feel of the bass is also it is important to wash your car. It must be completed every once in a while to keep it in top condition. If the back of the neck has a lacquer finish, it can be cleaned with a good guitar polish or any other Polish will clean and protect the finish. Spray a little on a soft cloth and rub the leg of the bass, it not only cleans and polishes to help eliminate neck, but much oil from your hand. If this is not an application lacquered beeswax or similar will be maintained in good condition.

The neck is like the engine of a guitar, because if it is in good shape and always listening up, the guitar will play better as a tune on a car, it will work better. The key of the bass is a very important part of the guitar and take care of her. Here's a tip if you run into what they call freight buzz by playing certain notes you need a neck adjustment, so it means take the bass in to the shop and have done professionally, as you would your car.

Much attention should be the handle. If the fretboard is really dirty, remove the twine and rub the neck of any bass guitar gently with a soft brush (do not use steel wool). This will remove most loose dirt. Remember to be careful on an acoustic bass when you remove all the strings at once so you do not end up moving the pickup under the bridge. If the frets are tarnished can be cleaned with a good clean metal, but be careful not to get one of the cleanest on the inning. Repeat for all the frets. I do not recommend the use of fine steel wool, because small particles tend to want to settle in the grooves next to the frets. It is a tedious job, but everything we do to take care of what we like to do takes time, and it will increase the life of your investment. If the bass guitar fretboard is painted it can be treated with lemon oil, but do not use too much and wipe the excess. Well, if you try to do without removing the strings, it can be difficult for prevent oil from getting on the strings (but it can be done).

Another solution is to use Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes, there are also Many polishes and cleaners available that works as well. How many times has the feel of the bass should be cleaned depends on how often you play your bass. I suppose two or three times a year would be enough for most players. Personally, I like to do every time I change my strings, which should be every 3 to 4 weeks. Always keep a clean string there to keep your chains to free the oil accumulation your fingers.

There is another thing to be aware of the key addition of bass guitar, and it is the humidity you have in the room you store your bass. You should invest in a small humidistat to monitor the area where your bass is stored, because the bass fretboard and body can be damaged if the humidity is low, causing the wood of the bass guitar to dry out and then might crack. It's just something to be aware. If you're like me, you want to take every precaution to keep your bass in excellent condition, after all you paid a lot of money for that. Question: How can I restore/clean the aluminum/chrome of the frame of a shower stall?

I do not know whether the frame is made of aluminum or chrome; however, I have a feeling it's chrome. It has a matte finish and the shower doors are sliding doors. On the bottom of the frame, it looks like the metal has been corroded or rusted.. I tried scrubbing it off and using different cleaners; however, I was not successful. I am not sure if it is just limescale or if it is corrosion. Does anyone have a solution to this without having to get a new frame? Thanks!

Answer: It's polished aluminum. If it were chromed it would be steel undernearth and the edges would rust where it was cut. Is it reddish? Then it is rust, If it's gray or greenish, it's aluminum. Use steel wool soap pads to clean the frame.
