Question: would the swiffer Carpet Flick be any good with hairy,dirty carpets?
or any other product like that? cheap but picks up hair??
Answer: No. It's terrible if you have Pet Hair or your own long hair. It's just like fly strips, tape - think of how long a big flat piece of tape would last picking up hair .. lol
Good for confetti, though!

Question: What's better: Swiffer Sweeper or a Shark stick vac?
I have linoleum and tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. This is the first time I've lived in an apartment without carpet and the visible dust is driving me nuts! My regular broom just isn't doing the job
Answer: I love my swiffer, HOWEVER, the cleaner that you buy for it isn't good enough and doesn't get really stuck on stuff very well so I use a spray bottle of 50/50 diluted Simple Green-cleans SOOOO well and is non toxic!
Love it (sorry for sounding like an ad)...
