If you are competing with Molly Maids or Merry Maids, then you may be charging $80-$100 an hour.

If you are a small cleaning business and compete with other small business owners, then you may be charging between $10-$35 an hour on average depending on what services you include in the house cleaning package. How much you charge for house cleaning also depends on where you are. If your business is located in Manhattan, New York City, then you can charge substantially more and people will pay. If you are in the suburb of a rural town, then your house cleaning rates must be substantially lower or you will not have any customers.

What services you offer
